I would also like to know how to drive the crows and grackles away. They are the bullies of the birds neighbourhood!

Get a crow decoy and hang it upside down in your yard. Crows do not like dead crows. I have done this, it works. We also have a dead crow out in the field, close to the yard, we just left it there, makes the other crows crazy.

Where do you buy these crow decoys?

Nothing keeps magpies away, as far as I know. When they start to nest in my yard, I go and knock down the nests as soon as possible, and they eventually move on.

I remember visiting an old neighbours place in England years ago and he used to trap magpies With a live trap similar to what we would use for skunks or raccoons here.

If I give you a preferred neigbourhood, you can shoot as many as possible until the boys in the Black and White sports car show up! LOL

Reminds me of something I heard while sitting outside in the Minnedosa campground bright and early one morning over a decade ago. In short, someone's conversation with an irritating crow.

I don't know if the crow bought the farm or not (this was far from where I was), but I didn't hear that crow again lol.
