    $500 rental top up form to apply

    If you do not have access to a computer to apply for rental top up .I wonder where one goes to get a form . any info would be great Thanks

    The $500 one time federal housing benefit is being administered by the Canada Revenue Agency. Their number is 1-800-959-8291. The program begins tomorrow (Dec 12) so the line will likely be busy, but when you get through, you can request they send you a form. If you can get to the Service Canada office in Brandon, I’m sure one of the service reps there can print out a form for you.

    Will you be able to apply online? If you have access to eBrandon online, you should be able to access your CRA account online too. Might be quicker than paper.

    Yes, you can apply online, but you have to be a suitable candidate, such as only make a maximum of $20,000 annually. Heck, I’m struggling financially but make only a little over that, so it’s a pretty low number they came up with to weed us out of the running. Good luck with your application

    If you made less than $20K last year, you can apply. Go to your CRA account...
