Zoom is it a good thing ? or Skype just would talk to one person here & there .

Are you referring to the concept of zoom, such as is present in cameras? Or the video conferencing service? If the latter, I mean it's good for what it's used for.

I'm in my mid 20s, and nobody I know uses Skype at all anymore since there are better options available. However, if you find that most of the people in your life have one or the other, go with the platform that's most versatile.

Post-Covid most people I know have access to Zoom, so I would imagine that it would be the more popular option.

Zoom has a free option. If someone has a paid Zoom account, they can host the call and everyone can join for free as long as they want regardless if they have an account or not. If the host doesn't have a paid account, you have a time limit of 30 minutes I think.

Does Skype even exist on it's own anymore? I thought Microsoft basically rolled it into Teams?

If you noticed the rest of post I'm asking about Zoom now that I know Skype is no longer available .

I’d choose zoom. It’s easy and free. Has what you need for a simple conversation.

On the free Zoom account, you can talk for 45 minutes. I use it mostly for work as my family all have Android phones so we use Google Meet - which was Google Duo. Facebook messenger also has a video call option
