Would anyone have any suggestions as to how I could market a book in Brandon? I am from the Hartney area but wrote a novel with the principle location of near and in Brandon set in 1882. I decided to self-publish because it is very hard to find a publishing house on the prairies that will accept a first time author and fiction.  
 
I put my book for sale in the Hartney-Souris area the beginning of September and sales and comments have been amazing. Today I left some books at Pennywise Books on Rosser but have really no idea how to get word out about it. I am letting potential readers view the first chapter on line but right now I don't even know how to advertise that. Response has been good so far and requests are out for a sequel which I am anxious to get working on but I must get marketing done on the first one before starting another.  
 
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
