Will the economy effect your Christmas shopping this year?

That`s the question that seems to be making the rounds in the media right now as the fallout from the US economic situation hits Canada. While Manitoba isn`t effected as badly as other parts of the country, you might have a hard time telling that to those whose investments/savings are down 20% this year.
Per this story from CJOB, the Retail Council of Canada does not expect a slowdown:
