To add to the lighter chat of the holiday season I was wondering if there are any interesting stories out there about how our members have met their “significant other.”  
 
Twenty eight years ago I met my then future husband when I was working in a nursing home in Souris. His aunt also worked there and just having come back from living in the city I thought it would be nice to buy myself a horse to get back into the country way of life. Her brother just happened to have some horses for sale (Like my dad he was a horse dealer) so the running joke there is that I got my husband as part of the deal. I wasn’t able to keep the horse very long as I found stable fees and board too costly in the winter, but must say the other part of deal worked out very well.
