Roadside Memorials.  
 
The city of Winnipeg has issued some rules concerning Roadside Memorials:  
 
1. They have to only be placed on a Boulevard.  
2. They must only be one meter by one meter.  
3. There must be a contact persons name on the Memorial.  
4. They must only be kept for three months.  
 
I personally find the sight of a plastic wreath supporting some dead flowers with a Teddy Bear impaled on a stick a bit Tacky.  
 
I do not see how this type of Memorial helps the grieving process for friends and family.  
 
How would the person feel who caused the accident feel if every day they have to drive by that fateful spot, and what if this Shrine were placed outside your house?  
 
Some people think that they are good reminders to promote Safe Driving.
