Creative uses for hockey sticks?

I was thumbing through some images for a project I'm working on and came across the image you see in the right-hand column of this discussion... a bench made entirely out of spare hockey sticks.
It got me to thinking... with hockey many old spare (in tact or broken) hockey sticks folks in this part of the world have, what creative uses have you seen or thought of for one or many of them?
In addition to the bench idea, some less creative things I've seen are...
- cut down and placed in a sliding door track to keep the door shut
- used to move logs around in a fire
No idea is too crazy!
