Amateur astronomy

Anybody know of any amateur astronomy groups in Westman? On a recent vacation I had the opportunity to see the moon through a telescope and was amazed. I am considering beginning astronomy as a hobby but I would like to talk to some others first. Maybe attend a star party and see some different telescopes.
