Matthew 16:4  
"A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah." And He left them and departed.  
 
This discussion is in relation to the Laminin sermon made by Louie Giglio.  
 
This example of "Proof of God" is, to me, so contrary to the general message of faith. Faith should be not be bolstered by such a blatant "clue". It reminds me of the Shroud of Turin, and the suggestion that the artifact was used to wrap the body of Christ. Science, in these cases, is apparently being used to further religion, whereas normally science is ultimately dismissed by those who have faith.  
 
I have lots of other things to say about this, but I'm curious what others think(not those who refuse to listen to other points of view).
