needing a new mayor,and city council

OK here I go venting,but I have to,this is disgusting.
I had a friend who visited me over the weekend,she has not been in Brandon for over 15 years. Things haven`t changed in Brandon,everything still looks the same,buildings,people,etc.she told me.
Yes i agreed with her.
The reason is I believe our mayor and city council is afarid of changes.
We had great opportunity to have a casino,and other things are our fine mayor and city council denied it.
WHY????
There is not awhole lot to do in Brandon,lets get with it already.Let`s not stay in this rut,let`s make Brandon a happening city.
Myself being in my thirties,we need changes,alot more of them,and with the support of a good mayor and new city council.
It`s time for a change....
