Rural High Speed Internet Providers
5/9/2009 at 1:39 PM
We just had RFNow {Virden} come out and do an unsuccessful line-of-sight on our property due to the trees.
The tech suggested that if they are unable to get a signal, chances are no one else {iNetLink} will be able to either.
We live directly between Kemnay and Alexander.
So far, on our contact list we've got:
iNetLink
RFNow
Xplornet
Or...the dreaded thought of dial-up *gasp*
My first question is: are there ANY other reliable ISP's for rural residents?
Second: With such new fiber optics in this development, how come MTS or Westman Communications hasn't jumped on the desperately needed bandwagon?
Thanks in advance for any info or thoughts! =)
