Canada Post - changing address. Is this right?

It's been years since I had to change a mailing address.
I check Canada Post online and they prepare you for 20 minutes of info to assure your identity.
Date of Birth
Move date
Contact info (phone & email)
Credit Card # and expiry
Social Insurance Number (optional)
Drivers License info (optional)
Knowledge of your personal credit history
(they use Equifax to assure your identification..
Is there an easier way to do this?
I can see them wanting ID, but is your credit info a little much?
