Do we have ANY Canadian Icons?????

A new survey says we can't identify key national icons by photograph. 40% of us could name Sir John A. Macdonald by looking at his pic. Most Canadians, 88 per cent could name Celine Dion from a photograph, and 77 per cent correctly named Wayne Gretzky. 19 per cent could identify the father of Medicare Tommy Douglas, and only 27 per cent could name Metis leader Louis Riel. Thankfully 89 per cent of those polled correctly identified Terry Fox from a photograph.
Maybe the South Park Parody of Canadians is right. Celine Dion?!?!?
