Kudos goes out to Lucille and Ken De Baets of Buckhorn Ranch and Outfitters just east of Baldur. I was at the Sprucewoods Star Party this weekend and we all went there for a banquet supper. It was setup as part of the star party. This was the second time we've gone. Simply excellent, home-cooked buffet meal, cash bar, dessert, and private. There were about 40 of us there.  
 
If your planning an anniversary or some other special occasion for about 40 people, I would recommend contacting them. It's not a restaurant, so you have to call them to set it up. I don't know about pricing or some of the other details. It's housed in a old barn that has been done up nicely. It might be a bit of a drive from Brandon, but the experience is well worth it. They also house hunters during hunting season. You would need to contact them for more details.
