I'm starting to look at replacing my appliances (F/S), so doing a little research on various brands and models. I'm not into too many crazy options, just good quality appliances that do the job and will last for years.  
 
I'll stay with white (not stainless) because I like them better with my white cabinets and they are classic.  
 
I'm not sure how people like their Ceran (Smooth) top stoves. Are they easy to keep..any problems?  
 
Does anyone here have a Gas Stove? I've heard they are a dream to cook with.  
 
Self-Cleaning is a must (vs. Easy Clean - basically you have to use oven cleaner. Who needs that?)  
 
I'm not sure about Fridges with water dispensers - do they give anyone trouble down the road? (leaking, maintenance, etc.)  
It's not a huge priority for me, but if the price is right and they're normally trouble free, I'd consider it.  
 
What about Fridges with freezers on the bottom? A little weird, but they seem to make sense.  
 
I know, I'm loaded with questions on whether you've been happy with your own F/S. This is an investment for hopefully many years to come.  
 
I'll definitely do my research online, but it's also nice to hear from ebrandoners on the make and models and retail service they trust, since it's been a long time I've shopped for them.
