What would draw your attention at a craft sale?

I am in the midst of getting things ready for a major craft sale in Brandon. Of course my main goal is to display my book but I need to sell other things to offset the expense.
What would help you to be attracted to a booth at a large sale? It was suggested to me to wear a period costume at the time that my book represents historically. Would that draw your attention? Would a freebie gift advertised ahead of time attract you ... even to come to the craft sale in general? A free contest to win something?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
