Baby Shower

Hi everyone,
I was nominated to throw a baby shower for a friend. But I have no idea what goes on at baby showers. I was wondering if anyone could help give me ideas of what I need for an even like this besides food, decorations, and sending out invitations. I would really appreciate anyones input.
