CHRISTMAS yet another month of overspending
12/3/2009 at 6:30 AM
christmas is the time of year for sharing. I have recently been to a few meetings and dinners given by BRH, THE CITY and let us not forget the PROVINCIAL AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENTS. Why are they allowed to overspend on lunchs, dinners, parties and the list goes on. Most of these people who are asked to attend can afford to pay for their own meals and parties. It would be interesting to keep track of where and why all this overspending is happening with OUR tax dollars. In my opinion these dollars could help out our canadian citizens that have to live in unsafe facilities. Has anyone seen the places our mental health and low income friends and families. Is Canada becoming a third world country where our people are homeless, starving and being taken advantage of?
