Last night our workplace had our Christmas party. Great food, great company and many laughs. What was missing was our management. Two years in a row they have not been there. I and many others found this very disrespectful. Even if the person just came for an hour to say you guys make a great team, Merry Christmas and Thanks.  
I know in each work place there are personality conflicts, but for one evening set it aside and have a good time. Our job can be stressful but a simple pat on the back can go a far way. Just show up to show us your support.  
Even though they (management) did not show again we had a blast, but in the back of my mind I wondered just how important we are. I guess there is always a scrooge. Just needed to vent. Thanks
