I am so darn frustrated and overwhelmed with Avon right now!
I signed on to sell as a Rep in October and have invested a lot in start-up, samples and advertising. Then nearly two weeks ago, one of my orders was held due to my late payment. THEN! When I tried to immediately call them and my ‘Leaders’ to rectify it all, no one returned my calls until it was too late. I finally receive my orders yesterday and much of it was either on backorder, missing or damaged! And now I sit on hold, long distance for 52min so far and am fuming.
I can’t believe the inconsiderate lack of customer service shown to their Reps AND customers. It makes it awkward and challenging for Reps to address incompetency’s when they do not have the support of their supposed suppliers. They even had the audacity to call me yesterday regarding the balance due for an order I had not even received yet! This means no catalogues and such even though we passed deadlines to order yet they want me to respond immediately.
Because of these strings of errors, Avon has cost me time, gas money, long distance calls, complimentary gifts (out of my pocket) and a serious case of humility.
I would suggest to anyone considering becoming a Rep or buying Avon products to be very careful of what you are getting yourself into. Well here I am, still sitting at 1 hour of my life wasted and knowing how important I am to their so called team! My phone is about to die . . .
