x-skiing trail vs walking trails

For those folks that enjoy the winter exercise in the Brandon hills there a few thoughts for safe outings.
There are wonderful walking trails marked as 2km that are a great workout for both you and your four legged friend. These trails are found before the entrance gates inside the compound, near the parking on the south side of the road. These trails connect to other trails along the hill side which are beautiful, and a great workout. These trails are safe for the walker that does not meet the needs for x-country skiers. This means clear sailing without being taken out by a skier and agitating yourself during this peaceful experience.
The trails beyond the gated entrance that are marked A or B or C are groomed by the hard work of volunteers to assist all levels of x-country skiers. No explanation is needed that the risk lies with the walker, as there are many curves in which visiblity is limited. As it is natural to walk in the tracks to ensure stability, it causes risks to the skier and the equipment.
I suspect that like hunting season, harmony can be achieved easily, but while addressing respect and safety concerns.
