Last month they sponsored a Poll to determine if Mayor Dave would have won a Municipal election in December.  
 
Is there not enough news in Brandon that they have to create their own?  
 
I figure Mayor Dave has another 6 months of work to do before he steps down so why is the Sun feeling the waters for him so early?  
 
I can only presume that the Sun plans to bore its readers every month with a similar Poll to show either that Mayor Dave was always #1 or that one of his opponents came from behind in their Polls and became our new Mayor.  
 
Is their intent is to manipulate the Vote? I hope not, or if they think this well increase Voter turn out, I think the Voters will have lost all interest after 10 months of irrelevant Polls.
