Shopping in the states....

Does anyone know which cities are best for taking a shopping trip and getting good deals? We are looking for lots of outlet malls and just some deals in general. I am trying to decide between Minot or Grand Forks. I know Grand Forks is a bit farther to travel, but is it worth the drive? Any other tips would also be much appreciated! Thanks e-brandon!
