Hey everyone, I thought that I should start a group to warn everyone about the slap chop. My mom, like almost everyone I talk to, thought the slap chop was the coolest thing out there. I mean I would chop onions that was stil in it's skin, no more crying for this girl right, wrong.  
 
My parents ordered this product online. They take you through a bunch of options that you can add to your amazing unit. By the time mom got to the end of ordering the product, it came to $60!!! There is absoutly no cancel order button or anything of that sort. Yes the Slap chop costs only $19.95 but they charge something like $30 for shipping and handling!!!  
 
So when it finally arrived in the mail, Its made of very cheep plastic that will fall appart after a cupple of uses. It takes five mins to chop things up like they show on TV, oh and the wonderful onion chopping in the skin, yea it doesnt work.  
 
I hope that this serves as a warning to people who are like us and thought what a great idea. Has anyone else ordered this product and had simmular issues or is there a magic trick that someone knows out there that we are not getting. Thanks?
