Today I went to a local eatery to get one of their strawberry cheesecake slices for my girlfriend. something we could share after the meal I was making special for Valentines. I made my purchase and left and a few mins later arrived home thinking I was hte best guy in the world for getting my love her most favorite dessert in the world. This place is known for how large their portions for desserts are and many mnany times we have gone there to SHARE a piece of cake or whatever we decided on. I was so disappointed when I opened the box and it was half the size of a take out hamburger box. There was one strawberry on it and a little bit of strawberry sauce. So thinking maybe I should call them and explain that my purpose was to share it. The woman answered the phone and when I explained she said the slices are the same as always. I said there is no way its the same because when you get them brought to you the cake is standing upwards and has sauce and strwberries all over it. this Piece was so thin I would have to prop it up against something to make it stand. She said there is nothing she would do except exchange it for another piece that was going to be exactly the same. I then asked is there a size diffence between take out and if I ordered it in. She simply said nope. Ill never go back there again. So I guess Ill be watching my girlfriend eat her cake lol, which doesnt bother me. Its the fact that a manager of a place didnt seem to care what I was trying to get across. Next time Ill just say give me back half the money for the half piece of dessert and we will be good.
