Today I was sitting with a few other people and happened to say that I guess we all have "I was so poor that ... " stories and, yes, each one of us had one. I thought I would post on here to hear what your "so poor" stories are. I will tell mine  
 
I was living at the "Y" in Ottawa and was so poor that I only ate saltine crackers for an entire week (mind you I bought them ... didn't swipe them from restaurants, lol). I also had the opportunity to go see Rich Little at the National Arts Centre but could not afford even the $8 cheap seats.
