wedding information needed

Ok so here is the scoop. I just got engaged and now i need to start booking things for the big day.
The thing is my boyfriend is Catholic and i am United ...i think LOL, so can we get married in a church that is not cath? does it have to be a priest or minister or can it be a JP in a church?
Please help me im lost and don't know what to do or where to go?
