Any Lawyers Out There???

So i need some advice as to what to do.
my husband was a "witness" to someone uttering threats in october, he refused to make a statement because nothing happend, then on friday a justice of the peace shows up at my house and serves me a subpena for my husband to attend court!!!is this subpena not void now since it was served to me not my husband??? please give any advice, i am very angry with this whole situation. let alone the justice of the peace giving me attitude!
