Help with recipe

Does anyone have a stove top baked bean recipe which you don't have to soak beans and you use a pinch of baking soda when cooking them. Great recipe but can't find it. It only takes about 21/2hours to do. Thanks in advance.
PS, I have the ingredient part but not the method.
