I just wanted to do a shout out for my two little girls ages 7 and 9. Yesterday they decided on their own that they wanted to clean up Brandon! With the snow melting and the garbage all laying around they were sad to see the bike/walk path which we use often in such a mess. The two of them convinced their dad and I to take them for a walk.........We walked along the path all the way down to the corral centre picking up garbage as we went....One nice lady running with her dog took our filled bag to her dumpster for us so we didn't have to carry much (thank you).....they cleaned so much i was so proud of them! When we walked back I was amazed at the difference it made...It looks so much cleaner, it was really noticable. I think this is pretty amazing that two little girls could have such a big heart, and warm their parent's hearts all them same.  
We enjoyed doing this, it turned into a game of who could fill there bag fastest and it was kinda like playing i spy!!(i see a chocolate bar wrapper, i see a tim hortons cup) I thought they were a little crazy for suggesting it but we had a great time.......so if anyone is looking to spend some quality time with their family while doing something good for the earth and city....try this, you will be surprised!!!!!!!!
