yesterday i went to get my son after i was finished work and he was standing in my moms yard waiting for me and watching a cat that was crossing the street, i ran inside and one of my moms neighbors came walking (storming actually) pointing her finger at him asking if he was yelling at her..i didnt know what was going on so i asked and she said "your son was yelling hey! hey lady dont run over my cat, you need to teach your kid some manners i was not going to run over his cat" as she was saying this she was being very rude and yelling at me..i was kind of shocked but told her he is only 3 and its not even his cat he just seen her truck coming down the street and a cat crossing..hes a child pretty much still a baby scared that this cat might get hit she said she didnt care he shouldn't be yelling "hey lady at people its rude teach THAT kid some manners" by that time i was a little upset and the only thing i could say was maybe "tell me your name and i can teach him that" she whipped around and very agerly said "JANE DOE" (i dont want to use her real name) so now when my son sees her he says mommy theres the mean lady "jane doe". well he learned her name lol but this made me really upset like i am a bad mother or something maybe i should have stuck up for him more but i froze i couldnt believe that she would yell at a baby like that i just need opinions on this..im uncomfortable even going to my mothers now and playing with him in the yard
