Female golfers?

Are there are any female golfers out there? I have a membership at Wheat City golf course and it seems like the only people I golf with are my boyfriend and his friends. I don't have any girl friends that golf because it just doesn't seem like a lot of girls my age (mid twenties) have an interest in golf.
