To be young and know it all

I remember being 19 and knowing everything. I had all the solutions to life and was going to live on my own terms and I was not going to fall into the trap my parents did.
Then I got older and I either got dumber or smarter. I don't know everything anymore and I fell into many of the traps my parents did.
what would you like to tell the youth of today to help them in life?
