psychiatric nursing at brandon university?

Hey folks, I'm Laura and I'm from the Maritimes. I went to school last year at UPEI and realized I really didn't like it there because the people there are pretty snobbish because they all went to high school with one another. So, in turn I decided to look around at other programs/schools and I read into the psych nursing program at BU, applied and yesterday I got accepted (yay!)
Just wondering if anyone has taken this program and if so: how is it? Is Brandon a decent place to live? I've never left the maritimes (from cape breton) but I'm leaving in like 3 months it seems, haha.
