I am getting pictures ready for the Souris Art show at the end of this month and thought to do a series of portraits of the characters in New Beginnings (and sequel)... but I am having trouble with one portrait (I will post a photo). It looked OK before I added the neck and shoulders ... she is looking back but something is really wrong with this. Is there someone out there who has long hair who would offer to pose like the character in the picture and send it to me??? This is the first work I did on paper with a slight brownish tinge to it ... her hand is showing up too grey, compared to her face so will try to work on that.  
Any suggestions would be appreciated ... I know that sometimes when a person opens a picture the mistakes can jump out quickly. Thanks for your help.  
 
PS - this is done with chalk pastels - mainly pencil chalks
