For a couple of years I have received forwarded emails about using old fashioned Listerine for mosquito repellent. Supposedly a person can spray it around their deck or yard and the mosquitoes will disappear for a fair length of time. I was going to buy some yesterday to give it a try but there are all sorts of flavours now. The email said to use the original Listerine but even the amber coloured one is flavoured now. Not really looking for something that might attract those pests rather than repel them.  
 
I was wondering if anyone has tried it - if it has worked and what flavour/colour worked or didn't work.
