Who's the idiot that invented size '0'?

Because I am currently looking for a dress to attend a wedding, I decided to go shopping and see what I could find and to my surprise........so I thought I would just like to come on here and rant a little bit about clothing and sizing. I am a small girl but who the h-e-double hockey sticks thought it was a good idea to invent the size 0? What does this offer to our young girls today? I constantly read (on eBrandon), watch television shows, and see articles about how young girls are suppose to empower their beauty by accepting who they are, and how they look. But with designers coming up with ridiculous sizing to me only suggests that they are STILL telling young girls that it is better to be slim! I am totally at a confused state and disappointed. No wonder kids (this can go for boys too) are so confused about appearances
