Daycare Providers and closing for vacation...

I have a question for those out there using private daycares...does your provider shut down for their vacation time during the year? If so, do you still pay for the time that they are closed? What about stat holidays? Open or closed? Are you still charged if they are closed? I have a very convenient, fairly good provider but hoping to get some insight into how other places operate...
