Pool ?.. water too alkaline

So what can I get to lower the alkaline levels in our pool. Now not getting all crazy, its only a smaller above ground one. The test strip when I checked it today showed the levels to be very high..
What can I get to help lower them, and where can I get it?
Oh, we have VERY hard water.
