I never thought I'd get excited over a vacuum! I don't normally vacuum - much to my wife's chagrin. Anyway, my wife was happy that I went out and got her a new DYSON as a suprise. I heard how good they were but didnt' really understand why a person would pay so much for a vacuum. Also, we have central vac as well as another regular portable type (Hoover I think) so I didn't think we needed anything else. The Dyson proved that most other units are totally inferior.  
 
This thing is absolutely incredible and I actually offer to vacuum once in awhile. A truly incredible unit....  
 
If ur in the market for a new vacuum spend the extra and buy one of these bad boys...
