Wal-Mart Supercentres not a big hype

I recently moved to Saskatoon. Their Wal-Mart Supercentre had its grand opening today. I noticed something odd about it.
The new Supercentres in Kindersley and Portage are the exact same prototype as the Saskatoon one. They do NOT sell meat, produce, or bakery items. I thought the whole purpose to the Supercentre was to provide this type of product. Isn't that one of the reasons Safeway in Portage shut down, because of increased competition from Wal-Mart's food division? These Wal-Marts are really no different from the Brandon one, except for three additional food aisles.
I was quite disappointed in the Supercentre, and thought I'd let you all know it is not as good as it sounds in the media.
