So im a Brandonite, as many of you already know or have figured out by now. Ive lived here all my life (born in the peg but always came back
). And I was content with where I was in years before now.
But now im not so sure.
Im not sure if its cause im now an adult, but things have changed. What I previously remember as being a fairly good natured and friendly city, has changed. People have taken on this big city mentality, have lost much common respect for one another.
Not to mention, jobs it seems are a scarcity. People at the bottom of the ladder right up to people with power engineering tickets, in many cases, cant find work.
And entertainment is minimal unless you feel like spending money on getting drunk.
So I ask, why am I here? DOnt kid yourself, ill be here for a LONG while yet, but I keep seeing close friends moving away to different provinces and cities, and liking it more.
So, I guess im just looking for opinions, from people whom have lived outside Brandon, and people that live here.
