So, I figure that when you call the plice about witnessing a crime happening in almost your own back yard, one would think that the police would do something about it. Well, this is not so the case. We just witnessed a couple of girls throwing punches at each other and causing injury. The police were called, and when they finally showed up, nothing was done but everyone getting a "stern talking to". The crowd eventually dispersed, but a few remained. Whatever happened about feeling safe in your own neighborhood? I don't want to let my dogs outside in fear that something will be thrown at them, as has happened before. Why are parents not supervising their children when they are clearly under the age of 12?!? Fences clearly do not keep these children out of our yard, so does anyone out there have any suggestions on what someone at the end of their rope can do about this situation?
