The Rivers Chamber of Commerce is planning a family New Year's Eve event - something that will include a dinner and a dance which will be open to families so that they can celebrate together and where parents can actually goout on New Year's without the trouble and expense of a sitter. We are going to do it as a fundraiser for the new recreational complex.  
 
As Chairperson of this committee, I am looking for ideas that anyone might have of what they would like to see included in an event like this - we are just in the initial planning stages so we are open to anything really. I want to see a really fun event - something we can make an annual tradition here in the community.  
 
So - what kind of ideas do you have?
