How to Remove That Horrible Smell??

Yesterday morning my daughter had a little mishap in the kitchen, involving instant oatmeal, a plastic bowl and our microwave.
Needless to stay, the smell of the mic is enough to burn the inside of your nose.
Is there any way to get rid of that smell?
