Am I wrong to be upset

In October I had registered my daughter with one of the skating schools (I understand I am not able to name the place) here in Brandon. We paid $191 up front for the registration. My daughter was never on skates before and has a hard time with new experiences. Well we did not make it to the floor the first class and had to leave. The second class we made it to the floor but she was crying so hard that we left. We were at a bit of a disadvantage to the class as I would say about 90% of the other kids were comfortable by themselves on skates. So I felt maybe this was not the class for us and we needed something more relaxed. So that day I cancelled our class. I was told that we would be sent a refund for what ever was left over. Well I got a cheque in the mail for $60, when I called to ask how they came up with this number I was told that $31 goes to insurance for myself and my daughter so $62 and then a $35 cancelation fee and then the rest went to the rental of the ice and $60 was what was left over. So we paid $131 for 5 minutes on the ice. In the agreement it said we had up to three classes to cancel which we cancelled on the second one. Has anyone else run into this situation and if so did you just let it go?
