Politically Correct
2/22/2007 at 6:26 PM
I like to talk about things that stir interest, in no way do I do it to offend anyone, so if you're offended don't read and participate in this discussion.
Have we, as a society, become too politically correct in general? Are people afraid of being thrown in front of a firing squad (fired, disciplined or judged harshly) for trying to be funny or just trying to cheer someone up? How's your workplace? Do you and your co-workers still have fun or is your workplace so politically correct that you wake up, show up, work, go home, over and over again? Maybe what a person says today, perhaps would have been funnier on Friday? Does the day of week matter? Is everyone wound so tight now-a-days that any comment could upset them, or was it because it came from a certain someone. Would meds help sedate us from being so serious? Has life become so complicated and serious that we just don't want to have fun anymore? Smile, enjoy, live life, don't take things so serious, your health depends on it.
