Long gun buying and selling

If anyone is familiar with the Federal rules and regulations for selling long guns (rifles/shotguns), I could use some help.
The guns are registered and I have a possession permit, so all is legal, but I'm not clear on the rules regarding selling them.
Any and all ideas would be much appreciated, Thanks..
