Life means nothing to some.

Reading today's newspaper about the horrible death of a 13year-old in Winnipeg recently by the accidental shooting of a pellet gun / rifle. This came about through a 17 year-old & a 13year-old "aquaintance" breaking into a garage & finding the loaded weapon. IMO, the most disturbing part of this tradgedy is that the 17 year-old left the 13-year-old shot, & ultimately to bleed to death albeit in hospital some days later.
Is this really the picture of how people see others & life? He was 17 years old! Likely very scared about what had happened but he didn't run to tell anyone & get some / any kind of help; didn't even panic & scream for help.
This is in the news on the heels of the sentencing of another individual who beat someone unconcious & left him in the street to ultimately be run over & killed by a car.
My goodness, what sad & frightening examples of how little life & human beings mean to some.
